Three iconic Carolina traditions. One unforgettable night!
What an absolutely epic Carolina welcome! This year’s FallFest crushed it as we launched what we hope will become everyone’s favorite new tradition, taking over the legendary Kenan Stadium the Sunday night before classes begin. The night was packed with amazing opportunities to meet new people and dive headfirst into the UNC-Chapel Hill community. First-year students jumped right in and found their crew, while returning students got the perfect kickoff for what’s already looking like their best Carolina year yet.
Our first-year students got the ultimate Carolina triple-header! They rolled straight from convocation at the Dean E. Smith Center to the party at FallFest in Kenan Stadium, then topped off the night as Carolina Alumni lit up the Bell Tower at 9:00 p.m. Talk about a Carolina welcome they’ll never forget!
The energy was incredible, the vibes were immaculate, and thousands of Tar Heels came together for one seriously unforgettable night of celebration and Carolina pride.
