Get ready, Tar Heels – FallFest is back!
Join us on Sunday, August 16th from 6:30–9:30 PM in the heart of campus for one of the most exciting kickoffs to the new academic year. Whether you’re a returning student or brand new to Carolina, this is your chance to dive headfirst into the UNC community and make memories before classes even begin.
With over 15,000 Tar Heels coming together for a night of fun, food, and freebies in 2025– we knew there was only one way to go for round two: bigger and better. This year, FallFest spreads out across the heart of campus – the Carolina Union, Davis Library, Lenoir Dining Hall, and the Pit – putting you right in the center of it all. It’s the perfect spot to soak up the energy before classes kick off the next day. Expect all the excitement and Carolina spirit that made last year unforgettable.
